About me:

My name is Lu Lindner and I’m a student of Cinematography at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg (since 2022). I am a fully trained Audio Visual Media Designer also, and have a background in television technology and documentary and experimental film making.

In 2021 my final examination film “drifting” (treiben lassen) was awarded the prize of “best film” as part of the nationwide FinEx Competition.

Through my career to date, I have been able to gain extensive experience in all areas of media production and develop a strong understanding of interdisciplinary work as well as a strongly process-oriented approach to a variety of challenges.

My focus is on concept driven cinematography and lighting design. I am able to adapt my choice of technology and working methods precisely to the desired product and, if necessary, to develop targeted workflows.

Whether fiction or non-fiction - I enjoy realizing a vision as part of a team and bringing ideas to life piece by piece.
